So I'm entering my junior year in High School. We call it 11th grade. My cousins know it as "高二", or the 2nd year of Senior High. But enough of depressing stuff. :)
On Monday I just got back from Taiwan, the land of convenience, cheap (good!) food, and oh my god why isn't the AC on.
My parent's two families live on opposite sides of the island. One in Taipei (my cousin "小況" keeps her blog there) and the other in Kaohsiung. I spent roughly two weeks in Taiwan in total, 6000 miles from home. (Luckily, there is still a piano for me to practice there.)
But one of the best places ever to eat is near the Gongguan MRT station near NTU. The abundance of food there is amazing ranging from meals to desserts such as 豆花 and 奶茶. And after you're done you can always pay roughly $1 to get to the Shilin Night Market from the Jiantan MRT station. Or Taipei 101 from the Taipei City Hall MRT station. Everywhere there is eats.
